What is a Patron donation?

A Patron donation is a donation you make to the artist personally to help fund the cost of supplies, shows, travel, video production or help the artist out financially between commissions or sells of work. In a nut shell, it's you rescuing the artist from the adage of "starving artist". Patron donations are not tax deductible and the funds go directly to the support of the artist. These donations are not forwarded to the rescue missions we collaboratively help support through the purchase of the artwork.

So that we are clear, when you purchase my work, I make a donation of the specified amount on my site at the time of commission at no additional cost to you. It's our way to pay it forward. I make every effort to make the donation after payment and before shipping so that I can provide you a copy of the rescue donation receipt. It's just my way of letting you know that together we really are helping to make a difference. The rescue donations are a collaborative venture between you and I for the welfare and benefit of the rescue organizations. Please do not confuse them with a Patron of the Arts donation. You make a direct donation through the Donate Button only if you wish to contribute to the artist personally as a Patron of the Arts.

To avoid any confusion, I have not placed a donate button on this page, but if you would like to donate as a Patron there is donate tab on the About page and the Contact page. I am so thankful for each and every one of you who helps maintain this artist's dreams by liking, sharing, following, donating, purchasing, or commissioning custom work.
