WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR A COMMISSION?

Send me an email via my Contact tab above with your commission request. I will send you a brief inquiry so you may describe your pet's attributes and character. Just complete the questions and return the email with several digital images of your pet.  

 

WHAT TYPE OF PAINTING IS IT?

Your pet portrait will be painted with quality artist grade acrylic paints and sealed in your choice of a matte, satin or high gloss varnish. My standard is Liquitex Hard Body with the use of Golden Fluids for finer details but other artist grade acrylic mediums and tools may be utilized. 

 

WILL IT BE FRAMED?

Framing is not needed.  Portraits are painted on stretched canvas and are  hang ready. Framing is not included with commissioned prices unless stated or negotiated. We will however provide you with specialized framing instructions should you elect to frame your piece. 

 

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?  

Portrait completion is dependent upon my schedule, the demand, the complexity of your painting, where the portrait is being shipped and timely payment. Typically, you will have the portrait in your hands within 3 weeks of your original purchase.

 

ARE YOU THE SOLE ARTIST?

The good Lord may guide my hand while capturing the essence of your loved one, but I am the one and only physical artist completing your commission. 

 

CAN I GET A LARGER PORTRAIT? 

You certainly may. Prices on larger works will be dependent on size and complexity. 

 

CAN I GET A LANDSCAPE OR HOME INTERIOR BACKGROUND?

Yes! Price for portraits with additional details such as landscaping or home interior will be negotiated based on the size and complexity of the portrait.

Yes. Though currently, I am only commissioning acrylic and soft pastel works.
